Labor???

Some advice please laides! This is my 3rd baby but have never gone into labor I am 34 weeks. Around 10 30 last night I started having contractions but they feel like the Braxton hicks but they are happening every 30 minutes. I am exhausted today from the lack of sleep from them. But they aren't a horrible pain. I don't want to go to the hospital and then them just look at me like I am being dramatic I hate that feeling. I have been having diarrhea and been feeling sick and it hurts every time she moves like she is just out of room. She is measuring 2 in a half weeks ahead in weight but I just don't know what to do.

Thanks girls for responding! I went to the hospital and I had super high blood pressure and I am dialed to a 1 and 40% effaced but wasn't in active labor yet so i was sent home and they didn't give me anything to stop it only being at 34 weeks so I guess just a waiting game and my back is stretching super bad! The joys of pregnancy lol

Eesscott is right even if ur having contractions u still have to wait till they r 3 to 5 min apart or they will send u back. My doc said during my last prenatal apt a few days ago that false contractions start in the lower abdomen n will not have a pattern. N they r further apart. Real contractions start in ur back (bad backpain) n pain starts in ur upper abdomen n then moves to ur entire belly. They also get stronger n in a pattern. But to do not go in unless it's 3 to 5 min apart. N the count is from the begin of a contraction to the beginning of the next contractions. All this time I thought it was from one finished to when the next started. Oh he said it has to be 3 to 5 min for at least 30 min. He also told me not to go in unless that happened or my water broke or I start bleeding where blood starts coming down my leg. If it's just spotting to just wait for the contractions to get closer.

Agreed with the above post. Even if it's real labor, most hospitals say they'll send you home if contractions aren't less than 5 mins apart.

If the contractions aren't letting up then you def need to go in but they say wait until they are 5 min apart. Even if you are in labor now it sounds like early labor so you should call your doctor but you don't need to go to the hospital yet.
