Losing weight?

So last week I was 166 lbs gaining 6 lbs since the week before but today I weighed 163 lbs. Is this normal? I was very shocked and confused I was expecting to be pushing 170!!

It's also possible that 166 was not an accurate weight or was due to water weight.  Not that gaining 6 lbs in a week is impossible, but it's unlikely. That would require an extra 3000 calories per day. Extra. I doubt you're eating 4500-5000 calories per day. :) More likely, you were closer to 161-162 last week aside from water weight, so the 163 this week is right on target.

Amniotic fluid isn't even made by us. It's technically the urine of the baby that they just keep recycling. That is not why you'd lose weight. At our birthing class they explained it just happens for some right at the very end

The baby swallowing the fluid wouldn't make you lose weight.

Yes it's normal especially if ur on ur last month.. baby is swollowing the amniotic fluid. That's where the lost in weight comes from. We don't produce as much to replace it after a while cuz baby is getting ready for delivery. But completely normal
