Painful pushing

I'm 39 weeks and today the baby has been pushing down into my vagina and it's been really painful. It's not contractions. It feels like the baby is trying to push out. Its major pressure and sharp pains. Anyone else experiencing this or knows what it is? Hoping its a sign he will come soon!

That happened to me, it never brought on labor in my case. It did help to soften my cervix from her pressing arundel down there. But it was over 2 weeks of me feeling that before I got induced.

I have such a pain for 6 days, yes, it is uncomfortable, I cant even walk sometimes, but it turns out to be just normal. Yesterday had my doctors appointment - she said that naby has dropped and theres gonna be labor in one week. Im now 37w6d

Yes! It sometimes feels like a Charlie horse in my vagina. But it's normal I'm sure since he has dropped in preparation for delivering.
