constipation

I'm 6 weeks 2 Days. Extremely constipated. I have gas guess that's a good thing. Idk. But I've tried metamucil & it made me more constipated. Tried prune juice & threw it up. Any suggestions?

Try prunes. You threw up the juice but the whole dried prune might stay down better. If you can keep it down, they work! I have had success with this remedy. Very constipated and gassy as well. Good luck! Drink lots of fluids!!!

I've been on probiotics (recommended by my GYN-they're called VSL #3) since before I got pregnant, and she said to continue them particularly to combat constipation. I've been a little constipated the last two days (I'm 6 weeks 3 days) but hardly had any veggies yesterday so have to fix that too. The probiotics do seem to level things out though, along with a varied diet.
