She's here! Fast labor story

October 6 I started having contractions at 11:48pm. After timing for an hour, I got to the hospital on the other side of the island by 1:30pm. My water broke on its own during an intense contraction by 2:45pm and there was meconium in it. I was given an epidural by 3:30am and by 5:35am I was pushing. She came out by 6:16am on October 7 in between pushes. It was a super fast labor by the doctor's and nurse's standards since this is my first baby. My gd ended up causing her to have low blood sugar, but that was easily fixed.

It's so overwhelming being a FTM but i'm loving all the new experiences with my baby girl, Charlee. Good luck to the rest of you October mamas!
