Mucous Plug?

Hello ladies I am currently 39 weeks pregnant and just wanted to share. Yesterday I had a pretty long day had an early appointment to check for baby position and weight and ran some errands with hubby. Everything looks good and shes at an estimate of 7pounds. As the day went by I started having on and off cramping not painful but just noticeable this happened all after noon specially as I was walking, which I been trying to do a lot lately. I got home and the cramping stopped. After a few hours I started having some contractions about 5-7 minutes apart again with cramping not painful but uncomfortable and went away. After two or three hours I went to use the bathroom and as I wiped I am 100% sure I lost my mucous plug, about quarter size clear with no bloody show. I have an appointment tomorrow which I hope my OB checks for progress and gives me good news. My previous appointment was last week and no change to my cervix. I have a date of being induce but I dont really want to, is there anything I can start doing to try and move things a long quicky. Im so over being pregnant lol

I actually called in the afternoon because I still felt the symptoms and I went into L&D baby was monitored and everything seem fine. I got a cervical check everything was closed which was a bummer. Today on my appointment with my OB I explained ALL the symptoms that I have been having since wednesday she checked my cervix and I was actually 2cm dilated (happened over night), she went ahead and did a membrane sweep and told me to head over to L&D to get monitored again. I went over baby is moving but her movements have decreased dramatically since my symptoms began. I got an ultrasound again and come to find that my amniotic fluid is 'normal' but is on the lower side. On wednesday morning it was at a 9 and today at a 5. I got sent home to drink plenty of fluids and come back tomorrow to get another ultrasound. I also have been having on and off contractions but since my membrane sweep they have become a little more regular but not painful just uncomfortable. That was done at around 11.30am today.

Any updates? How did you appt go today? Any good names?
