When does the baby move up?

When does your baby move up in your belly? I'm 17 weeks and I know she's sitting real low. The first time I felt her she was low, right above my pelvic bone and when the doctor listened to her heart beat it was low. I feel a lot of pressure there constantly and just wanted to know when the baby starts moving up

I'm a second pregnancy and I had to have an ultrasound at 15 weeks because baby's heartbeat was right near my belly button. Said I was just growing faster than normal and baby was fine.  It all depends on how fast your uterus grows and where baby wants to move to. I was told that by 20 weeks your uterus should be about belly button high. My baby has all the room in the world and it chooses to lay near my stomach at the top of my uterus.
