There. I freaking hate autocorrect.
I know in Texas their is the k12 program, I'm not sure if it's only statewide though.
Nope definitely not. As much as I'd love my little baby and want to spend as much time as possible with it it's going to be too hard on us financially when immy kid starts school is when Ill be going back to working a lot more than I will have been... That and I look at my cousin and just think that he's lonely and it wasn't a good choice.... My grandparents adopted him because my aunty was having mental issues... So my grandparents home schooled him and he's smart don't get me wrong but he has no social skills has no idea what on appropriate behaviour around people ...he also gets offended easily because he didn't learn the " sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me) he obviously does interact with other kids but they are also home school kids so it's not really the same ... So I think normal school is better for the social side of things and friends as well
I homeschooling my 9 year old daughter and my 13,8, and 6 year old boys are at public school. Each has its pros and cons
My sister home schools her two children, now aged 7 and 10. She does it very successfully with support of the home school network in Ireland. My cousin home schooled her kids and they both decided to self-learn even to complete their final year exams. They are both very self motivated, confident and really creative. I have no doubt home schooling enabled this. If possible I would like to home school my son as it is an excellent way of learning.
Yeah, I hear I can go to a certain store for teacher supplies but I've still got a lot to learn myself about this whole thing. Looks like i'll be the one being homeschooled. :/ lol
Thats beyond expensive. I wouldnt know what to do. I still have time before my two will be in school, I mean shoot, Bella isnt even 8 months old yet. My cousins are all homeschooled but also go to co-op for certain classes
So I just got a call from a homeschool advisor. They apparently provide all of the necessary curriculum for the year but its $1,650! My gosh.
Yes I looked into that as well. I just feel my daughter is more attentive with a one in one environment so im looking into homeschooling. She'll be 5 soon and starting kindergarden so I want to get things figured out asap. I have no clue how to even start or where I get her proper books and materials. :/
We are gonna do private school. Was thinking about home schooling but decided on private school instead
