He is here

Wyatt William was born at 8:08am October 5th. 20 in long, 8lbs even. We did skin to skin as soon as he was born and he was nursing by the time i was in recovery at 8:56. Going home in the morning. I skipped the induction and went straight for the cs as doctor was fairly certain that it would be needed anyways as he hasn't even engaged yet and my bp was getting worse.

Thank you all!  Just got home and settled in.  He is doing well and I'm moving pretty good. so far we have had to supplement my milk with 2-4 cc of formula because he pooed so much the first  day he just isn't getting a full tummy. But his latch is improving and I'm starting to satisfy him all day and he just needs the help at night.

Congrats! I know a few minutes after delivery and my girl was cleaned up, I did skin to skin, and not even 5 minutes after that, she was wanting to nurse, so I got her to latch, and she was at it for like an hour. Now, she only will take my milk, won't take formula at all. Makes me feel good that she likes what I give her. I hope your recovery is going good too like mine. Enjoy that little boy. :)
