contractions 5 mins apart

I have been having contractions 5 mins apart for the last two days went to the doctor and I am one cm with no thinning what can I do to speed this thing up. I'm in pain and very exhausted. This. Is my 2nd baby, with first it was boom boom bam and he here. This one is hurting his mommy physical, mental, and emotional :-(

Drink ice cold water to make your little one more active, anything to make him active and move around will help!!

Go have sex, and do all the stuff that enduce cuz u might just need that little push to start dialating. Semen may make u dialate faster.

Idk I have been to the doctor both days he is making no progress but the machine is showing 5 mins apart. I guess it's just suffering from here

I am wondering the same thing. If your contractions are that close they should keep you no matter what you are dilated to.

Are the 5 min apart from the start of one contraction to the start of the next? That's how my doc told me to time it? Y wouldn't they take u in if they are 5 min apart?
