I have gestational diabetes and ibs. The new gd diet is making my life hell and irritating my ibs making me quite sick.
All i want to do is eat like i used to which btw wasnt unhealthy just more carbs and a good breakfast.
Iv limited carbs now no sugary stuff no juices basically water all the time and all my food is so bland. Im constantly hungry to especilly in the morning coz im only aloud a small yogurt
I'm on vitamin D also, I take it in liquid form and it tastes like oranges so is actually quite nice! :) 6 weeks is not too long....then you can have all the tuna and blue cheese you want. And if you express, you might even be able to enjoy a glass of wine with it! :)
I'm pretty tired of the prenatals too they taste gross, I don't have to take iron but I do have to take 4000mg of vitamin d every day for my entire pregnancy. I'm over it!
My Dr told me no bleu cheese or feta even if it is cooked, something about the baby can't handle the mold and I'm afraid if I eat tuna its all I'll want I literally ate it once a day before I was prego. I only have 6 weeks left so I think I can hold out till then :-)
I can't wait to stop taking iron supplements and prenatal vitamins. Totally had enough of them - ew! :)
You can eat blue cheese as long as it's cooked, so blue cheese on pizza is ok. If you want to eat tuna, eat plenty of fresh coriander afterwards (add it to a fruit smoothie or juice it with plenty of fruits). Coriander helps take metals out of the body.
I haven't been able to eat anything that I love to eat because since becoming pregnant I was diagnosed with lactose intolerance. I can't eat shellfish at all! On top of that I already had acid reflux :-(
It absolutely *****! I can't wait to have my son (10/22), I'm going to have a feast
I eat tuna twice a week lol
You can totally eat a tuna sandwich!!
