freaking out!

Today one of my elderly clients fell and  i wasnt thinking and attempted to lift her up. Im 8 weeks and a few days and im soooo scared i hurt the baby...after i remebered i stopped but i still tried too at first... do u think I should be okay? I am stressing and i know how bad it is for the baby :/ HELP!

Thank you ladies.. i had some slight cramping last night but other than that im fine! I was worried about the cramping but i have had it before. Thank you for the kind words!

By lifting heavy you cannot hurt you baby. What can happen is that the gestational sac can detach from the uterus but if this was the case, there would have been spotting or even bleeding which can indeed cause problems, so I advise you to not worry :)

I work with the elderly as well. I lift a lot even tho my dr said only 25 lbs. If you've done this before you were pregnant yoy can do a little more unless your on restrictions. I'm going to be 9 weeks tmrw and I think you'd be okay as long as your not bleeding or in pain. You'll be okay. I've done a lot over the course of these past couple weeks, lifting my 45 lbs dog in and out of cars...your okay. I take it easy though as soon as I can. I put my feet up at work and when I do a little more than what I'm supposed to I always rest for like 15 minutes or so before doing another task.
