My doctor said a glass of red wine is ok. I had a wedding and we didn't want to tell people yet. She said one small glass every once in awhile won't cause any damage. It takes drinking on a regular basis to cause any damage to a baby. Not 2-3 glasses throughout your whole pregnancy. Also my lactation nurse told me to help bring my milk production up to drink a glass of beer a week. Something about the yeast and ale?
While it's true that you could drink alcohol everyday and have a perfectly healthy baby, it's also possible that you have a few drinks and not. Why risk it? No amount of alcohol had been determined safe during pregnancy. It's only 9 months and the choices you make now could impact your child for their entire life.
Hot sauce. Non alcoholic beer legally can't have alcohol in it. You can get low alcoholic beer that has only a small amount
I have had a standard drink at a bbq a couple of weeks ago...my doctor has said as long as it's not a frequent habit nor binge session then it will be fine. One drink in 10 weeks is not going to do any long term damage....I know lots of people who continued to have a glass of wine every afternoon when they were pregnant. Also, my best friend was told to have a beer by her midwife when her blood pressure was high in her 3rd trimester. Did the trick because her blood pressure was perfect after that.
Its a myth, in realty any % of alcohol puts your baby at risk
good luck! :)
I haven't had one lol it was just a question but I'm not sure I feel comfortable drinking it, it was just a thought at the moment because of the craving i had..The alchohol in it is less then 5% I believe i was told so someone would have to drink like 10 for it to even equal one beer. Wine has more then that doesn't it? I'm not sure I don't drink it or why its supposed to be so good for you to drink
Fyi non alcoholic beer still has alcohol so be mindful with it also
It has alcohol in it why risk that?
Id talk to your doctor about that question. Honestly I've only had one glass, 4oz, and didnt even finish it.
How many is ok though? I wont drink like 10 lol but one or 2?or just one? I didn't drink anything during my first but this pregnancy I'm craving red beers.. which are like bloody marys but with beer instead of vodka. Which I'd replace with non alchoholic beer

I had a small glass of red wine at about 6 weeks. You can have non alcoholic beer just fine
