moms who have used convertible car seats

We are trying to decide if we will be getting a convertible car seat or just use a infant and get the others from there. While I really like the idea of just buying one my only holdup would be the ease of taking baby inside and out. Obviously it's easier when they are in a carrier to just pull them out and keep them in that when running errands etc. What did you use or do with babe when using a convertible car seat?

If you go with convertible get a carrier, like a ergo, moby wrap, tula

I'm going straight to the covertable. My sister did with #4 and loved it. She just use a Moby wrap our stroller until baby could sit in the shopping Cart

I live where it snows and the carrier is a pain but the little one can be nice and warm in the carrier not have to go out in the weather.
