How did you organize your nursery?

I'm a little over 6 weeks from my due date and have been hit with the nesting and organizing bug. I see all these adorable ideas on pinterest but so many of them don't seem practical for long term maintenance without a lot of extra effort... and who has time for that with a newborn!?

What did you do that made life easier? What did you need easy access to other Than  changing items? We won't be using a changing table so I am going to make 2 changing baskets, one for the nursery and one for the living room, to hold everything to change on the floor, coucb, crib etc.

I've seen cute jars used to house pacifiers, did you really keep up with more than  1 or 2 at a time?

I've got a ton of excess bath items that I know will get used, but not quickly so I plan on storing that away for now to leave room for more frequently used items in reach.
