Just diagnosed with gestational diabetes :(

Hey ladies! I am 27 weeks and was just diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I didn't have it with my daughter, and I don't know what to expect. I have an appointment with a specialist this coming Wednesday, but if anyone has any info/advice I would really appreciate it! Thank you!  :(

This is my 2nd pregnancy. Both with diabetes. Honestly the appointment where they show you what to avoid helps. It's overwhelming at times, but just take it a day at a time
