12 week scan

I had 2 ultra sounds, and next one is at 20 weeks.  But I have scheduled a private ultrasound next friday to find out the gender I'm 17 weeks then.

I had my first scan a 8 weeks to date my pregnancy. I'm going on Monday for my screening ultrasound and to hopefully hear the heartbeat! Last ultrasound we just saw the squiggly lines of a strong heartbeat of 170bpm!

I believe they only do the 12 week scan if you want to have your baby tested for downs and trisomy 13 well at least here in the U.S not sure anywhere else i just turned 12 weeks today and got my scan yesterday its always good to know

I had an ultrasound at 12 weeks and the second will be at 20-22 weeks for the sex.

There's someone who has the same doctor as me and she just had her first ultrasound. We're due around the same time ( I'm a week before her) so I don't understand why I was told differently.  I go see him in 2 weeks and I'll talk to him then. I'll be 12 weeks 5 days. Not sure why it's different with didn't patients. I'm in Canada so it's covered so it's not that.

Oh that's not great I guess u could always have private scan if you didn't want to wait. We have 12 weeks,20 weeks I get extra one round 33 weeks due to being overweight.

A lot of people I know got their first ultrasound 11-14 weeks. I was told I won't get one till 20 weeks or 5th month of pregnancy.  I had one from the hospital at 6 weeks 6 days to make sure everything was good but won't have another till I basically find out the sex. I'm 10 weeks 5 days now

Aww where I live you have to wait to 12 weeks feels forever this is my 4th baby got toddler and twin girls x

I had my first one last week at 8 weeks 3 days! Nice strong heartbeat at 167 bpm. My baby looked like a blob but you could see the yolk sack. Something I've never seen before and this is my 6 baby!
