1:50am Rant!

So on top of being 38 weeks pregnant, big and uncomfortable! My husband has been snoring like a grizzly bear! He's always snored but this is extreme. its never bothered me before but now it does. i can't sleep! I'm so annoyed! I've even held his nose and punched and kicked him but it only helps momentarily.. i worry because the baby will be here in 11 days and it may keep her up as well. smh!
        -Sincerely, sleep deprived!

http://www.m.webmd.com/a-to-z-guides/features/help-for-battered-men all of you who are making light of such a terrible thing should be ashamed. It is abuse by definition and men are far less likely to report this due to feelings of embarrassment. Well done on you all for perpetuating the stigma. I hope you spend some time reflecting on why you think punching and kicking another human being is ok...Or even funny!

There are mouth guards you get and mould to their teeth. My husband is terrible but not with this mouth guard. Not a peep. Unless he roles on his back then he gets a shut the f up or a shove and rolls over.
Good on you for not reacting to the silly comments on here.  Im positive your hubby would get a good laugh out of him being portrayed as a victim.
TRY THE MOUTH GUARD. I SWEAR BY IT.

Deb remove yourself from this convo please, there's always that one! Smh. Anyways, to the rest thank you, i will definitely try those strips. I don't remember his snoring ever being a problem. i thought maybe cause he put on some weight it was affecting him but at this point i will try anything!!!!

Right there with ya! Breathe right strips don't help enough for my husband anyway, laying on his side with two pillows under his head do make a difference but it's something I feel with nightly! It's so much worse when we're up every little bit to pee & turning over every 20 mins. And don't worry, you aren't the only one pinching & prodding lol

My husband also snores. Try using breath right strips. They usually help. If it gets bad enough he's nice enough to get up and sleep in another room. Good luck

Relaxx dont stress you need to be calm since you are almost due ... maybe he can sleep in the couch so you can get rest this few days? And as far as the baby you wont sleep anyways have go wake up every 2 hours, and babies get used to whatever noise is around them... my 6 week old sleeps wonderful and my house is loud and i have a dog that cries, barks, howls, and i sleep with the tv on, i do vacuum and he does not wake up... good luck

It's not dramatic at all. If the gender roles were reversed in that situation you wouldn't Lol. Punching and kicking is definitely violence and should not be laughed off.

Lol at the last comment about domestic violence.  I'm pretty sure she doesn't whoop her husband's "A" in the bed. That's just a little dramatic of you don't you think?  Anyways Dear 38 weeks, I know how you feel... I'm 38 weeks, big and uncomfortable and on top of that,  sick!! As far as the snoring goes, I usually do try to poke and prod him to roll over cuz that does help most of the time. If not, you may have to go to another room just to get some rest until baby comes. As far as after the baby comes, maybe try some of those breathing strip for his nose or ask your family doctor if they have any suggestions.  Also keep in mind that although babies typically don't sleep through the night at first, whatever you do will train them pretty much.So if you tiptoe around when they're sleep starting off, then you'll always have to tiptoe and be quiet when they're sleep. But if you start off with just going about as normal, the baby won't know the difference at will sleep through the noise cuz that's what they're used to. People make that common mistake all the time then have to whisper and be extremely quiet while baby naps which can be a pain in the long run. So go about as normal and just try and find a remedy for hubby.  Good luck with birth!! I'm right there with you... any day now!

Hi, I'm sorry that you are sleep deprived and can definitely relate to your annoyance at snoring but punching and kicking your husband is so not okay... Ever! Pregnancy does not excuse domestic violence.

Make him roll over. My husband is the same way he will even choke on his snore and start coughing. I make him sleep on his side and it's a lot better.
