In my experience, men are extremely uncomplicated. You pick one who is a good man - has a job, acts normal, has nice friends, has a car, has a place to live outside of his parents house - and you treat him with respect and admiration, and it's all good. Men are very easy to predict.
Respect is earned not given. It doesn't matter what a man has if he doesn't respect you then you don't respect him. That's the way I was raised anyway. We have have everything of our own. Nothing is just his or mine we work together for everything we have.
Well, that's not the way I was raised.
I was raised that you don't move in with a man and create a baby if you don't respect him. If your guy still has to "earn" your respect, you picked the wrong guy.
