You will be fine .there are times that you will struggle but having support from family helps. Are you sure you want to cut his family our entirely it was him that got physical not his parents. Sometimes is better to have a big support system then a small one ( my mates a single mum and screwed herself on family support but she still lets the fathers family see the kid )
Sweetie, I'm worried that you'd consider taking someone back that was physical with you. This is the beginning of an abusive relationship that WILL get worse if you don't cut your losses now. That YOU are texting him after he hurt you is very concerning to me. Do you have parents or friends that you can reach out to for help??
Single moms work hard. I can't sugar coat that. But a man who hurts the mother of his child is even harder to live with. NO child should be exposed to that kind of instability in the home.
good luck hon and I wish you all the best
Like i told my girl when we was both first pregnant with our girls being a single mom is nothing to be embarrassed of it happens she didn't wanna leave cause she felt she will be judged and prove her mom right but her childs father is an a** hole and loves to fight and call her names while she was pregnant and after in front of their child its best noe that you have seen who he really is cause if he does that with your baby in you he will definitely do it with the baby outside and there to witness like her childs father does the only supports you need is from your family or yourself put him on child support so it wont be so hard for you to take care of babies needs and bills when you gp on your leave hopefully your family can help until your leave is over start saving money now for rent in the future save save save is the best way to secure yourself when you do go on leave best of luck to you hun you will do great on your own rather than being with a man who puts his hands on you while pregnant smh
Also look into WIC or any other programs to help afford things if you don't think you'll be able to do so!
Definitely file for child support so that he can still help pay for you. For the meantime if you're worried, you could get a restraining order and then go to court once you're baby is born to figure out how to protect him/her if that's something you're truely worried about/: no man should ever get physical so I'm sorry you're going through it. It isn't easy to be a single mom, but it's a lot easier than staying in an unhealthy, abusive relationship while taking care of a baby!
being a single mommy WILL be hard but you can do it ^_^
