Well, it sounds like you have had to be mature for a long time. I honestly think it is good to recognize someone's quirks and just try to let it slide. You are getting more and more independent of her all the time and eventually, you'll just think fondly of her and be like "thank goodness I don't have to be with her 14/7". Ya know? good luck hon
i was just seeing how old was she when she had you. but i think you should appreciate it. you could have a crack head mom that beats you. your mom likes to laugh a little lol i find it amusing. you dont pick your family but i believe u should make the best out of it.
@ specialmom I'm truly at a loss. I don't know what to do with my mom. I'm scared my child will see this behavior and copy her. I am kind of embarrased of my mother she's always loud and makes a scene and never acts her age. It drives me into a bad depression. I can't even have a conversation with her without her saying something hurtful about me then calling me names. I feel socially awkward and stupid all the time because of my upbringing. I work so hard on trying to be a good person and kind without being a doormat and it's just so hard reteaching myself how to act as an adult. I don't understand my mother I try to reason and talk with her and she can't be reasoned with. Everything I do and say is wrong
Hi, well, sounds a little annoying but nothing to go off on. some day you will think of your mother and laugh about those moments. Try not to take it so seriously. good luck
20. What does my age have anything to do with it.
