Sweetie, many men will not notice you painted your nails "thier favorite color".....The fact that he does not notice your hair....did you completely change color and style? If not, he is normal not to notice.
Either you are young or, you are in need of some growth to learn to love yourself. When you feel good about you, you don't need to look for compliments.
If he is not a complimentary, attentive guy, and that is something you need and desire, then it is time to move on. You can not and will not change him. To remain with someone who can not give you the emotional support/boost you need will only continue to harm your self esteem. You set yourself up for disappointment, and to never feel good enough.
Many of us girls fall for guys who aren't able to be as attentive as we like....then blame them.
Get single, and next time a guy likes you for you, try dating him! Dating a nice guy is so much better than trying to chase and change a jerk....and you can waste years doing it, and break down yourself esteem.
Once you live yourselves and value yourself, you will only date the "nice guy"

No! My partner does not ignore the "hints I throw"....but I have found that when I "throw hints" verse clearly communicating my needs, he is not very good at trying to read my mind.

Most men do better with direct communication.
