rant

My MIL has a habit of saying things out of anger. Most recently she told my husband how "lazy" I am and that I never do anything. Ok. For 1, my husband has no job. I go to work every day as a waitress and am on my feet 6 hours a day. 2, my husband does all the housework since he is at home and I work. 3, I try to cook dinner but he never let's me because he knows the smell of cooking food has been making me nauseous.
Thank God my husband stood up for me because it really hurt my feelings. I really do what I can for my little family and the only thing she has done for us is help with a few bills and buy me a few pairs of maternity pants cause I have no money. My mom and I have put my girls WHOLE nursery together and handmade everything to save money. My husband said not to let what his mom said get to me but it did. :/ She is definitely a hard person to get used to.

I am so sorry, it is frustrating to be in situations like that. I'm glad that your husband stood up for you though. Have you talked to her about how you feel at all or has your husband?

Ugh...problems with in-laws are definitely frustrating and tricky to know how to handle. But I'm glad to hear your husband is sticking up for you and sees the issues you're going through. And I totally understand that being pregnant while all this is going on makes everything so much harder! But, hopefully, your husband will continue to address when things get out of hand with your MIL. And maybe you two can sit down and discuss whether you need to put some boundaries in place with her or speak to her about how she's making you feel? Just a thought!

True. I just hate when bad things are said about me when I know it's not true. :/ (I'm a decently sensitive person.) And hormones don't help!
