strong emotional stress

I'm so emotional and I feel so needy. I'm stuck between my parents wanting me to get married and my boyfriend disagreeing. I can't please both but deep in my heart I want to get married and as much ad I try to suggest that my boyfriend shoots me down. I need stability and I feel like by being a unit that we will provide strong stability for our baby. I mean we have been together for 3 years and when the baby come it will be closer to 4 I don't understand his hold up. I'm not demanding marriage or forcing it on him but its hard to just be okay with everything because I feel like I have no control over this situation.

Since you've been together for so long,  I would demand that he marry me or we're out of a relationship.  

If this was a brand new relationship and oops you got pregnant,  and you don't know each other,  that's one thing.

You don't say how old you each are but if you're old enough to hold down jobs and be self-sufficient,  I'd draw a line in the sand.

Marry me or you're out and I'll see you in court for child support.

His reasons aren't reasons they're excuses and if they were actual reasons I would be okay with it and understand. I hope he comes to a final conclusion instead of leaving us in the in known thank you for all your advice its greatly appreciated(:

Tell him how you feel about getting married then ask him his reasons on not wanting to , look at the pros and cons , i think eventually he'll come around and agree marriage is what completes a family if It isn't the baby (:
