venting

i really don't want to tell my family im pregnant they are very judgemental and not like family at all every chance they get they gossip about eachother yet consider themselves Christians i moved at 18 because i just wanted my own life now im 21 i have a 2 bedroom apartment with my boyfriend i live 2 hrs away they have never even bothered to visit me yet always want me to go over there i haven't visited them in a year should i even tell them im pregnant?

They will find out eventually. If you are not close to any of them and living your own life then it really doesnt matter but its nice to have family support system. And to let them know their family is growing. But im sure they will figure it out eventually

16 weeks sounds like a good time its just sad that some families will actually gossip about one another

Sounds just like me except I moved to a different state. They really have no control over you so it doesnt hurt to tell. I told my family at around 16 weeks.

I didnt want to tell my distant family because they all thing im just an attention ***** but my mom told them and its been hell so i understand not wanting to tell them

If you in your heart you feel like you shouldn't then don't but I would just tell them just to let them know

thanks for the advice i just don't want them bugging me about marriage i use to be close to them but once i moved they started saying i changed when really i was just becoming an adult and making my own decision
