Being Induced as we speek

So this far I have been at the hospital since 7am this morning, and it's now 1042am, I'm still here, having contractions, but I can't tell if they are really regular yet or not... I'm on the petocin and iv fluids... They haven't cheeked me since about 8am when they were working on all of my adminission reccords, the nurse did say that I was about a finger tip dialted, but there is still a long ways to go.  So just keep me in your thoughts and pray that it will be a quick delivery!!!!  I will keep everyone updated as to how things roll along today... I have been up and walking around a bit, but the hospital floor is pretty small and they don't really want me walking any where else but up here, so we shall see how things go.

Oh I should probably mention that they didn't actually start my IV until abou 8am.. so it wasn't exactally at 7am like the doc said, so to who ever is going in a 7pm, they probably want to moniter you throughout the night, and then they want to be able to start you as soon as possible in the moring espeically since your sisters and yoru mom couldn't do it without a C-section, also they say that being on the pitocin can take a really long time, so we will see how long it takes me today, keeping in mind I am going from 0 to 10cm!!!

And to everyone waiting, hang in there, your time will come... just keep resting up and saving your energy because soon you'll have none!!!

Good luck, keep us posted.  Sometimes it does take a while for the poticin to work, they first give you just enough to make you have contractions then they bump up the dose every so often to where the contractions are very strong, you will be able to tell then bcuz they will come more regualar and they will be more intense and wallking will be the last thing you will be trying to do.  With my son i think it took 10 hours after getting the poticin, hour 8 i got the epidural, hour 10 he was born.

I just called the hospital to make sure i was scheduled for thursday and that i was pre-registered already.  Luckly they send you papers in the mail once you have your first dr appt so you can pre-register.  So i will be going str8 in and just waitn for them to start hooking me up, im hoping by 11am im all hooked up.  I also hope that im at least 4 cm lol.

Cant wait to see pics and here the story,

Best of luck and keep us posted. Yeah I'm checking in at 7pm tonight so I'm sure is just to have me spend the night at the hospital to monitor me and then on Wed morning to be induced. A total waste of time, they should just induce me tonight instead of having me wait 12 hours. I am 2 cm dialated since last Thurs and I have a feeling I've dialated one more cm since then, but who knows.

GOOD LUCK and I hope everything goes well.
