Belly getting hard is that normal?

Ladies, as you all know this is my first pregnancy and I don't have much experience with this. I've noticed my belly is getting harder and it feels like literally expanding....I'm assuming that's normal? I touched it the other day and it was hard as ROCK! My sister was surprise as to how hard it felt.

Who is is experiencing the same thing?

I noticed that when I sit in a chair for too long it really drives me crazy too. Now that the baby is starting to pour out on to my lap it feel uncomfortable to sit. I get really bad pressure between my belly and my legs too. I don't know the specific term for the crease between your belly and your thigh, but I have muscle aches there all the time.

lol, that's funny. I was getting freaked out for a min I didn't know what that was. When I'm at work is hard for me to sit on the chair for long periods of time...it's somewhat uncomfortable.

thanks all for comments

Could be bloating or braxton hicks. Sounds normal. I get both and so sometimes my belly is rock hard other times it's mushy on top and only hard toward the bottom where the baby is.
