Charlie Horse-Whine

My leg feels like it was hit by a Mack truck. Ouch. I woke up at 4 am and moved my foot and pain straight up my calf all the way to my hip bone. My calf muscle is still really tight. Anyone else getting these wonderful pregnancy charlie horses yet? Goodness.

Iv been getting them too. Its almost every alternate morning between 4-6am.I have to get my DH massage them, but the relief is only for sometime. this morning i had a bad body ache, so had to wake up DH and get him to go a body massage, only back side..else he gets turned on.We havent had sex for about 2 months now and he is too irritated coz of this. But im just not able to, i feel so tired, uncomfortable and never in a mood. I get irritated so fast.

I get them in my calves as well. I usually get them in the middle of the night and they wake me up. Just started this week. They are very sore today...felt like I ran a marathon. But I have been drinking more water lately....some days over 100oz. because of the BH, so I have no clue why I am getting them all of a sudden.

For some reason it just seems normal to stretch your legs/feet after waking up in the mourning.  Well after the first 2 charlie horses, i dont stretch my legs/feet lol, that was an awful pain and it doesnt help that when it happens the baby wants to bounce around lol when your trying to be real still so the charlie horse can go away lol.

I got one this morning that woke me up. I read that pointing your toes can cause them and I had been rolling around in bed so I must have stretched my leg. I've noticed that if I have my dh massage my calfs right before bed I don't wake up with cramps. Give that a try!

I've had really bad cramps in my calf early in the morning, like someone stabbing me in the leg.  Drinking tons of water has helped, and not stretching my legs straight out.  For me I think it's a dehydration thing.
