Going crazy not knowing!

K so heres whats been going on with me...
I am about 7 weeks pregnant with my second. On Monday the 12th I went in to see my dr. with some bleeding (brownish and not very heavy), he sent me in for an u/s on wed. the 14th. At the u/s we saw and heard the felat heart beat also saw fetal movements. The next day, thur. the 15th I started bleeding alot! So I went back in to see my dr.
He said that because we saw that heartbeat and what not the day before m/c was very unlikley and just to rest. On fri. the 16th I had my hcg levels check. Yesterday, mon. the 19th I got a call from my dr. saying he needed to see me. When I got there he said that my hcg levels should be around 17000 and they cam back at 700. He said that is almost impossible even if I did m/c for my levels to drop so fast and since the u/s went so good he assumed my levels would be fairly high.
Is he wrong or is there a chance that lab made a mistake? I was sent back in for my blood tests this mon. the 19th as well and will find out the results tomorrow.
Please help I just want to know if I am still pregnant!!!!

I am so sorry, this is awful.  There could be nothing worse then a loss.  Be strong. I can't imagine what you might be going through...

I hope that I don't have to have a vaginal u/s...

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh nooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!

And I have a vaginal u/s scheduled for tomorrow!  I have always tolerated the vaginal u/s pretty well when they looked at my ovaries for all my IUI cycles.

TeddiH, I am so sincerely sorry for your loss. I can't imagine what you're going through.  You're in my thoughts and prayers.

I would not put too much into all of this. I have a friend with slow raising hcg levels and one twin died and she's 21wks today. at 5w after IVF. she had a level of like 700 with twins. One was dying but at 7wks I think it was low as well. They said the neither twin would make it. Well she's 21wks with one twin. SO good Luck. expect the worst but hope for the best!

Im sorry you are going threw this, 700 is low being in order to see something on u/s levels should be at least 1000 or more. There are women who have low rising hcg levels and still have a normal pregnancy. I assume you dont have any previous hcg levels from when you first got preggo. I would wait until the results 2mrw to compare your levels. If they are going down that would not be a good sign but anything is possible.

I will keep you in my prayers, keep us informed on your results.

here is a suggestive hcg levels

well, i know that mine went from 5000 to 0 within a day.

i dont like the trans vag ultrasounds. i have bled after every single one ive had. i am supposed to have one done this thursday and i am really debating on if i am gonna do it or not. i really associate it with miscarriage, although many many people have them and have not had this happen.
