Any big plans for the weekend??
I am laying low and relaxing...the warmer it gets here the more my ankles swell...I am guessing that me returning to work and being on my feet more has something to do with that also...so I will take it easy this weekend...I am thinking of taking a trip to the nail salon for a pedicure...

Not me. I will probably just relax. The hotter it get, the less I want to go out unless it is in the morning or evening. During the middle of the day?? Forget it!!!
But relaxing is fine w/ me. The last few weekends have been pretty busy so an uneventful is welcome, but that could always change.....
Even though I have nothing planned yet, I am so glad it is Friday though!! I need a break from the drama at work!!!

I'm with you ladies on the pedicures. I am definitely due for one but probably will wait until Monday.
This weekend we have a BBQ to go to on Saturday evening. I'm not really looking forward to it because I have been getting really tired starting around 8pm these days. On Sunday we are going to dh's parent's place for an afternoon Father's day BBQ. That will be ok but it is an hour drive each way. So, I would kind of rather just stay home and enjoy the beautiful weater we are supposed to have. I guess I'm not feeling too sociable these days!
On a good note our nursery is coming along. It's painted and we bought our crib and dresser/change table last weekend and dh put it together. I like going in the room and just imaging what it will be like when little Jake is in there! I have ordered some prints for the walls and an area rug...hoping that will be delivered next week. My shower is July 12 so a few more weeks to go!

Lots of plans happening this weekend!
It's my birthday on Sunday (Fathers Day) so I'll be getting my pedicure done today and hair tomorrow. My DH and are starting the nursery next week. We are having our uncle paint the room over the weekend. We need to buy an extra bed for the guest room so we'll be doing that this weekend....
I'm also stopping by the swimming pool to get some sun and a few laps! I love being in the water. We are expecting warm weather...around 90s degrees over the weekend. OUCH QUITE HOT.

The only person that i see that can complain about the weather is 35momofboys...its suppose to start reaching 100 today and 105 by next week, that means 117 is just around the corner....(anything past 110 is just stupid hot and it all feels the same, a dry hot heat)
As for me, i have been working too much and didnt feel it until i woke up this morning and couldnt walk to the bathroom, my right hip and butt area are so sore that i couldnt step down on my right leg, it actually gave out!! BUT the nursery is painted!! i havent taken pictures yest because last night there was still some tape on the walls and plastic on the floor so, ill get those up soon. I dont know if the internet is already set up at the new house so it may take a few days...
Well its finally here, we are moving tomorrow, only one more night here in this house!! CANNOT WAIT to get settled in!! BUT i am SO tired of going up and down those d*mn stairs already!! The bedding should be here some time next week (well they will be shipping it out next week, it was on back order) and then it will be pretty much done!!

Ugh speaking of weather.... It's going to be 97 degrees today and tomorrow. And my kids have a baseball tournament to play in all weekend. The first game is tonight, but it's at 8 pm so maybe it wont be so hot by then & maybe I will be able to endure that one okay. As for the rest of the games this weekend, there is no possible way I'll make it. Thank God the boys dad will take them to the game (he's the coach.) My body can't take those bleachers but when I take a folding chair it's actually worse. I can't seem to get comfortable anytime, anywhere.
My shower is next weekend (Sunday 6/28 =) and I'm really excited! It's a diaper shower, so I know what most of the gifts will be... =) And with twins on the way, I'll sure be needing a lot of them...

I"m excited for this weekend. This weekend is the first of my showers. My family is coming down today and tomorrow, and the shower is tomorrow afternoon. Other than that, just laying low. Glad that the weekend is here and hoping for some nice weather.
Ooohh I'm super jealous about the pedicures! Have fun! I'm excited about the baby shower the family and the gifts started to arrive last night. So far we got a crib, changing table, car seat and stroller. Plus lots of little boxes that I won't open until tomorrow. I'll be sure to post tons of pics after.

I wish it was monday already lol. ive been off work for about a week now, i have to work this weekend and im not looking forward to it, then have to go to a birhtday party afterwards ughhh. ONe moment i feel good, the next moment my vaginal area and anal area feels like it has a lot of pressure on it and it makes it uncomfortable to walk.
On a good note, the changing table it put up, im waiting for my brother to come over to help DF paint the nursery then the bed will go up, YaY, then next week we will get the dressor, then the following week we will get the rocker.
Cant wait to see the pics of your shower nicmom, to think, its time for babyshowers, that means time is flyn by really fast.
