Headaches?

Hey Everyone,

Have any of you been experiencing a lot of headaches? I've had the same headache now for over a week. It feels just like a typical, tension/sinus headache, although I don't have any other symptoms. Before I was pregnant, I'd just pop a bunch of Advil, and that would take care of the problem. Can't do that now, though, obviously. I'm hesitant to take Tylenol, though. Guess I'll call the office Monday and see what they say.

Hope you're all feeling well and enjoying the first day of spring!

Erin

I have also picked up a terrible headache but at the back of my head, doctor says not to worry and that it will only go away after 20 weeks. I know its a long time from now but he reccommended Panado (In SA, preggies are allowed to take this). I am guessing its like Tylenol.  He says that I shouldn't be shy to take the Panado, its completely harmless, I can take two every six hours.  I also bought saline nasal spray to help relieve me of any nasal congestion.  Doctor says that headache's are a common symtom during your second trimester.  Only if its severe and persistent should you become concerned!

I have only had a few, however, the few that I have have been a doosy.  Last week I got one and when I got home from work I just layed in bed for until the next morning.  It was rough!  And the tylenol didn't work.  I use to pop Avil prior to prenancy and it would take everything away and tylenol doesn't do a thing for me so ya.... We are defintally in a pickle.

They are first going to tell you to take tylenol it is safe for headaches during pregnancy.

Second, check your blood pressure and heart rate.
