Heads up or heads down? Who flipped?

Who's baby has flipped head down already? I'm 27 weeks and all the stupid email updates I get say the baby should now be head down. Well she's sitting right on my cervix. I can't remember when my son flipped. Are any of you head down yet?

Nicole

At u/s about 4 weeks ago, my baby's head was down, but at the u/s last thursday, the baby was lying on it's side.   It's got plenty of time to move now.   Don't worry if not head down at this point.

We had our 3d/4d ultrasound yesterday, and baby is definitely head down.  He was kicking himself in the face, and his hand was in between his legs for most of the scan, but he was definitely head down!

I'm not sure.....I just can't remember when my doc starts checking for that, but it seems like it is a bit later.  But then again, I think you may be a week or two ahead of me.  I am 26 weeks 5 days today.  My next appt. is June 26th.  I will ask him if he doesn't tell me himself.  He will normally just measure my stomach at some appt. and say, "The baby is head down now".  I've just never really paid attention to exactly when that is.

At one point my baby was head down, i feel most of my kicks in the middle of my tummy and sometimes on my sides. So It all depends I guess....I'm sure the baby will find position here soon.

I heard the best time to get a 3d is after 30 weeks because the baby has body fat so July would be good. I get an ultrasound at every appointment because they are watching my cervix for changes that would indicate preterm labor. I don't know when she will do another 3d I just know she said something about after 30 weeks. They didn't charge me for the first one and I have no idea if I have to pay for the second one.

Im not sure how my baby is positioned. Some days i feel kicks/punches on my sides, then hi up, then little ones real low, then i see this hump in my belly as if the baby is turning, some days its on the far left and others the far right.  When i had the anatomy scan baby was head down, but she had much room to bounce around.  I dont get any more U/S :(  But i think im going to go get a 3D/4D in JUly. I will be 26 weeks friday, time is ticking away

I am 24 weeks (measuring 26) and baby is head down. I haven't felt the baby sideways or even try to flip around at all. The kicks are very consistent and pretty high up. I can feel some punches really low though as well and those hurt!!! ouch I am hoping my baby stays this way even though I know he/she can flip again.

That's funny I guess as long as she does flip it will be okay. Some days she folds her little legs up and kicks my bladder, but most days her legs are stretched out in front of her face and she kicks the upper part of my belly. Only one rib shot so far.

Head down as of yesterday, but CNM says they can flip around til the last minute.  I hope he stays put!  Also feeling kicks on my upper sides--I think because he rotates to face left or right sometimes.

i know what you mean about the BREECH on your charts, my tech put TRANSVERSE last time, irritated me too but i guess not too bad since i still have a lot of time...my little one is always sideways, he is obviously comfy but i hope its starts getting uncomfy so he will change to head down, you all know my luck though  =)

My next appointment and ultrasound is next Thursday. I guess it just bothers me because the tech made a point out of putting BREECH in big bold letters on my last summary. Then I got two emails this week saying "congrats on reaching the end of your first trimester by now the baby is head down". It just seems like the bigger she gets the harder it will be to flip, but I remember with my son that I knew the minute he flipped because he was so big.

The ob said they can turn around right up to the last minute before delivery.

I think he's head down but that's only because of how low he is and where I'm feeling the kicks is up higher...My pelvis hurts...lol. My DD didn't flip until way late in the game!

im barely 24 weeks and i know that my last u/s, he was head down starting to funnel my cervix BUT i know he is also tumbling like crazy and its too early for him to be in position so im of no use but i wanted to share...=)  i know too that since every baby is different and you are just entering the 3rd trimester, it will probably happen soon, i wouldnt worry, when is your next appoint?
