How is everyone feeling this week?

hey ladies I wanted to check in with everyone and see how you are all feeling this week. We're half way there!!!

Aside from a scare yesterday when I tumbled down the stairs I've been doing great. I'm noticing a shift in my anxiety from all the miscarriage worries I had in the first half of the pregnancy to already being worried about delivery and breastfeeding. Time seems to be flying by now and before we know it's going to be D-Day!

NicMom - I am glad to hear that everything is okay after your fall.  That is super scary!  I fell a couple of months ago because of my dogs.  Remember???  Everything was also fine, but just like you, I was just sore for a couple of days.

35Mom - I am sorry to hear about this at your kid's school.  I am however happy to hear that it sounds like you may be having 2 girls.  How cool would that be???

Stacey - As for those darned pants...I don't particularly like the ones that cover the entire belly myself but I do have a pair from a previous pregnancy that I am wearing.  It is fine for now, but I remember w/ the last one, when I got really big, I couldn't wear them anymore.  They just go too uncomfortable.  I do prefer the ones w/ the belly band.  I like those for after delivery also!

Asking4 - I am so happy for you w/ your pregnancy.  You are so deserving of it and I am so happy that all of these steps have been taken to prevent any preterm labor problems.

Air - I am glad things are going well for you also.  I know how you feel on the weekends.  I am so tired myself, but I know I need to get busy.  Before you know it, I will be huge and it will be super hot and then I will really never want to leave my house for sure!!  Summers here are grueling and I hate them tremendously!!!

Latrice - I am so glad you are feeling good and happy about your girl!!  I always say this, but girls just rock!!  I have 1 boy and 4 girls so I am a bit biased.  LOL!  But my girls are so much fun right now and they love taking care of me and helping me!  Boy....not so much or at least, not in my experience.

Juana - I can just imagine how horrible bedrest is at times.  After a couple of days in bed when I am sick, it's like "enough already".  But before you know it, your little one will be w/ you and you will pray for a few winks of sleep :)  I NEVER get sleepers!  Like I said, watch tons of movies and read lots of books.  I love reading and would do anything for a little bit of time for myself to read like I used to.  Hey, watch some soaps!!  Ha ha!!!  I didn't watch soaps for years and when I had my last baby, I got hooked again!!  I was just awake all the time and needed something to try to keep me awake rocking my baby constantly and so I ended up watching soaps.  I don't have time for all of the ones I had gotten hooked on, but there is one I watch regularly!  I just DVR it and watch it when I can.  Ha ha!!  Anyway, I hope you can find something to help keep your sanity.  Oh, and how awesome about your doppler!  I wish I could get one myself.....

Thanks to all for your nice comments about my daughter and myself.  She is back to being her hyper self, which is just fine w/ me!  It just breaks your heart to see them sick or hurt or not moving at all like she wasn't....Scary....Anyway, love ya ladies!!!

Greetings mommies! Wow! What a busy week!

Nic - I am so happy you were not injured seriously after your fall...PLEASE take t easy!!

Michele - I pray you and your little daughter feel better soon!

Momofboys - That disease outbreak would freak me out too...I pray it does not have an effect on you! I am on the way to check out your new belly pic!

AriQueen - Glad your pregnancy is unventful...wish I could say the same...

Stacey - I think I am growing daily too...I wake n the morning and my DH is just staring at me smiling and says.."Girl, you're getting out there!" He is so excited...

Latrice - I like your names too. My favorite of the two is Makenzie....that was on my name list if we ended up pregnant with twins...

Amberlee - I believe that everything will be okay with you and Aidyn is looking over you, Jason and Bryce! You will be just fine SIS-STAR!!

AFM - Bed rest is like being in solitary confinement...I am happy that both the bleeding and stomach cramps have seemed to go away, now I am just dealing with my body adjusting with the growth of the bab..my back, hips, butt, and thighs are always aching! I also et a little stressed becuse I don't always feel my baby move...I ordered a doppler on yesterday and can't wait for it to arrive!

I am feeling WONDERFUL, i am still smiling from ear to ear that im having a mini me lol, i mean a GIRL.  I called myself going to look at beds today at babies r us and ended up starting a registry lol.  The baby is still so active, im just in good spirits.  Im off work tuesday-friday, i plan on going shopping 2mrw, just for a few items.

I did want some of the stuff to match like stroller, walker, playpin, swing etc. my sister is coming over after work and will help me, im also having a problem with what type of room decor i want,  i no i want pink and brown so i dont have to paint the room, its badge in brown already.

Nicmom: Im glad you are ok from that fall, i feel down the stairs last sunday as i had on a robe and was going up stairs to shower and got light headed, i tumbled down on my belly, fluid came out, i wanted to make sure it was only pee and nothing else so i went to er, and luckly it was just urine.

35momof: i no u are very excited, im excited for you 2GIRLS:)

Airqueen & Stacey im glad you ladies are doing well

Michelle: Sorry to hear about your daughter and i hope everything goes well with your appt coming up, take it easy

Asking4: Just stay prayerful, and i will keep you in my prayers, i no the anxiety and fear of thinking how something could happen again.
Me and DF are still Battling over names but i think i may have to void his choice and just go with Makenzie Saymone or Hailegh/Hailey Symone

Well, I've been feeling good this week. My headaches seem to have disappear....I think it was more allergies than anything. I'm feeling anxious about the pregnancy and getting the nursery together, breastfeeing, child care on and on. It feels like my mind is going a thousand miles per hour. Everytime I think I can start focosing on my pregnancy "like going shopping or simply searching the internet' some URGENT project pops up at work and I can never get down to my personal to do list. LOL

On weekends I am soooo exhausted all I want to do is go to sleep...don't have time to search the web as much as I'd like to.

For instance, I wanted to start some knitting and crochet  classes but I can never find the time. I want to make a blanket for the baby before he or she arrives and it's SOOO hard to find time it's driving me crazy. I know a girl that knows how to knit and she is trying to teach me but I can never find time. My step-son is playing spring soccer and all of my Saturdays are booked up until mid June.

Well enough whining...I have had an uneventful pregnancy thus far and I'm happy for that...

Wow lot's going on this week!

Momofboys (and two girls now :-) is there anything you can do to prevent getting it and if they say less than 20 weeks and your at 19 I wouldn't worry too much. I saw your latest belly pic and wow! Looks so cute right now.

Michele- sorry to hear about your daughter I hope everything is ok. It's just horrible having to watch your kids when their sick or hurt. I've been to the ER with Alex way more times than I'm comfortable with. It never gets easier. I'll be praying that you don't have gallbladder issues and they figure out what is causing all that pain.

Stacey- I had the above belly pants and they kind of irritate my skin so I bought the below belly pants and  the elastic sits right on the baby. So I can't seem to find the perfect fit. I just aim for dresses and skirts most days.

Asking- I think things are going to get a little easier in a few weeks. It's normal to have anxiety as you pass the point in your previous pregnancy where you had Aidyn. Just keep taking those shots and trying to limit your stress. Every week is milestone of development and I pray that you make it all the way. In fact I hope you go past your due date ;-)

Feeling pretty good here. Feeling Bryce move here and there. On Sunday at church, DH started poking my belly and i felt him try to kick his hand so when i whispered that to DH, he kept trying to feel it but with no luck. I am still in shock over talking about this again. We are so excited and happy and just everything good!! I will be out or work starting May 15 and we will be moving right after so we are scared of how we are going to get through this but we will!! =/

Cant believe i am already almost half way through!! At the same time, that scares me to death because i am 3 weeks away from when everything happened with Aidyn. I am leaning on my Faith more then ever right now and trying my hardest to stay relaxed!! I take my progesterone shots every Wednesday and i must admit, taking that shot REALLY helps ease my mind about preterm labor!!!!!!

My appointment was suppose to be this Friday but due to a funeral, my peri is out of town till next week so it was moved to next Tuesday, 3 weeks out from my last one =(  kinda s*cks....Thats about it from here, i will do the Team Pink/ Team Blue/ Team Surprise list sometime this week or weekend....keep a look out... Thanks...

NicMom - I can't imagine your scare from the fall yesterday.  When I read that your dog ran by you and hit your legs, I totally could see it happen.  My dh has been warning me because when our dog gets excited (to go for a walk etc) she will run you down on the stairs!  So, I am now being extra careful after your experience!

I am finally feeling less anxiety and more confidence.  I am 21 weeks on Friday (yay!) and have not had bleeding for almost a month (had subchorionic bleed) so I finally feel ready to start making lists and buying things in a few weeks.

I have been going through a major growth spurt!  I found that a soon as I hit 18 weeks I have been growing non-stop.  Even a girl at my work said I seem to be "growing by the day" and I really think I am!  Our little guy has been active on and off.  I always think that on the "off" days he must be going through another growth spurt!!!  I definitely need new clothes.  The weather is starting to get nicer and my maternity jeans that I bought at week 9 are getting very tight!!!

Question re: maternity pants - I find my 2 pairs of pants with the "full bib" are getting less comfortable as I get bigger.  Anyone finding the same?  I'm thiking of just getting pants with the smaller band.

That's all for me!  Hope everyone is well.
GO BLUE TEAM!! =)

Well, Friday I had to take my 4 year old daughter to ER and they admitted her.  So, we were in the hospital for the whole weekend.  We got out Sunday evening.  But while we were there, I started getting this really bad pain in my upper abdomen.  I knew it wasn't baby related because I have had this pain before without being pregnant.  But normally it would only last for a day.  But it is really bad when I do have it.  Anyway, I stayed home from work on Mon. and Tues.  I went to the doc (my regular PCP) yesterday and he is doing blood work.  I will need an upper abdominal scan to look at my gall bladder and my pancrease.  Since I was having my anatomy scan on 4-29, they will also do this the same morning.  I will have to fast for it, so it will be early.  I still feel some pain, but I am much better today than I had been!

Just when I think I'm going to be able to loosen up and stop worrying a little bit, I have found out about this illness spreading around at my kids school (5ths disease) that is harmful to fetuses in pregnant women so they are advising all pregnant ladies under 20 weeks to use caution.  I'm 19 weeks...

Other than that, I've been doing good.  My hubby gave me his first progesterone shot (to prevent preterm labor) on Friday.  We were both a nervous wreck but he did so good!  I think we can do this, after all.  Although I do think one of the side effects of the progesterone is that it causes me to be all hormonal for a few days afterwards,,,

I am so excited about this time in our pregnancies, girls.  It's so fun to shop and get ready, now that we are learning the genders.  The only thing is, I am starting to become HUGE and MISERABLE so I guess it's a good thing I have done A LOT of shopping already.

HUGS TO THE SEPTEMBER MOMMIES and, GO PINK TEAM! =)
