I just wanna CRY!

I really just wanna cry!! I guess its my hormones getting to me today...or if its just the crazy ex that keeps bothering my boyfriend!!! And I can't show my emotions to him, because I don't think he can deal with them... =(

I just wish I could feel my little one move.

On a brighter note, I heard you can get a stethoscope and hear the baby with it at 18 weeks. So I'm looking forward to trying it out.

Also is it common to feel your baby one day, and not the next? This is my first pregnancy.

Hope all of you are having a great day.

Hey ladies! Okay so my mom brought over the stethoscope and my boyfriend and my mom heart the heartbeat for a quick 5 seconds a piece. The baby is sooo active and moving today. So it was hard to find it. I tried to see if I could hear, but when I was listening I can hear baby moving, and kicking =) Lol felt some little movements here and there too! So even though I didn't get to hear him as much as I wanted to, I'm glad my mom and boyfriend did. I enjoyed hearing the baby move =)

Radhika:  Thanks for the encouraging words! That is really true. We are all blessed. And I do thank God everyday because its amazing to be pregnant and create a life =) I will try those videos next time I'm feeling down, wish I could go to the beach, but lol we don't have beaches here in TN. But on a lighter note my mom took me shopping today and I got some clothes for me, cause I have officially out grown my jeans =) Yay!!!

I too havent really felt the baby move , im in my 20th week. People and friends here on medhelp have told me that with 1st pregnancy its normal to feel late, some feel at the end of 6th month too.
Dont worry, if you worry the same thoughts go to your baby. Be POSITIVE always thinking that all is fine, your baby will turn out to be a positive thinker.
God is merciful enough to take care of all and everyone, so dont worry..leave it to him to take care and stay positive dear friend.

When you feel like crying, listen to your favourite music..go on a beach side, have an icecream or a chocolate..anything that makes you feel good. Look at baby videos on the net, they will increase your affection and love for your little darling.
Afterall we all are blessed by the Lord to be pregnant, not every woman on earth is..so make sure to thank him atleast once in a day for this wonderful miraculous gift.
Isnt it amazing how nicely he arranges for everything, EVERYTHING for the baby just inside a mother's womb? Appreciate it..and be happy..you are glad being pregnant after all :)

Love,
radhika

It depends, about feeling the movement from the outside. I couldn't feel it on the outside with my son until after 20 weeks. With this one...I have seen and felt it on the outside, but only a few times. I guess the baby was just in the right position and I happened to be paying attention. I am 17w. I would say by around 6 months maybe? But it all depends! =) Let me know if you hear with the stethoscope....I've heard sometimes it harder to find that way and it works better later in pregnancy, but I have never tried it, so I wouldn't know!! =)

Juana:  I will let you know if I hear anything with it... Heheh I'm sooo anxious for my mom to arrive tomorrow =)

Chantal: Yeah, I'm hoping with the stethoscope I can get to hear it, and I know everytime I hear the baby's heartbeat, I get this smile I can't shake =) But thanks for the round about when I will get to feel the steady and more consistent movements. Also when can you feel them from the outside?

NicMom: Thanks, I'm glad everyone goes through these days, and its just not me. I feel bad sometimes cause I don't wanna be a lone but I want to be left a lone. Very confusing. But yeah, I just usually put my ipod in and tell him I'm listening to this song that made me cry to get him off my back. lol. Lol, very true that the baby has sooo much room so I guess shouldn't put to much thought in to it until the baby gets bigger!

Thanks girls for listening and making me feel better =)

Oh I'm sorry and don't worry it's normal to feel that way. I cry about every other day. Sometimes I have a good reason and other times it's just because.

Also the baby is still small enough that you may not feel them every day if it turns around and is kicking the placenta instead of you then chances are you wouldn't feel anything.

I hope you have a better day tomorrow

awww! I have days like that...I just want to cry and sometimes we just need to let it all out in order to feel better!
I started out renting a doppler with my son and ended up loving it so much I bought it! It works so great and I can always find the heartbeat when I'm worried.
As for the movement...very common at this point to feel the baby one day and not the next. They have so much room in there and sometimes we won't feel it. The kicks and movements will become more consistent between 25-28 weeks. Hang in there! =)

You are welcome for everything! That's what we are here for, to encourage one another! I am renting the doppler, but let me know about the stethoscope, I may get one when I return the doppler.

Thanks Tijuana! You really helped ease my nerves a lot! Your right it is our emotions that have a rollercoaster ride all the time! Everything has just been bothering me. But hopefully that it is with us to why we haven't felt out little ones move much. I know they are still so small and have a lot of room in there, so I need to take that into consideration. Are you renting the doppler or did you just buy it? Curious if you don't mind. I'm still going to try the stethoscope and see if it works. I will let you all know. Thanks veryyyyy much for the hugs! I needed it!

Hi Shawndell, I am sorry you are feeling crappy. I go through the same thing, I think its just our emotions. I was just telling my DH that I was worried because I didn't feel Makayla move since this morning. I ordered a fetal doppler yesterday, I need to ease my mind. I am told that there will be times when you won't feel your little one move around. I pray that's the case with both of us.

So honey dumpling, go ahead and cry! It helps to cleanse the soul!!

Hugs to you!
