Induction
My OB said they will do the amniocentesis on August 20 in the morning, it will take 1 hour to get the result back and if it is good we will have the baby that day (unless they are busy then it will be the next day). I'm so excited, I really hope that the amnio comes back that his lungs are good!
I agree with you it's nice to know the day and not just have to play the waiting game. I'm scheduled for September 9th, but I hope I go a week before that.
It is so exciting to know the day! I feel like now if I have contractions before that I may just waste my time in L&D since half the time they send you home lol.
How exciting Amber! It is nice to know the day isn't it? I'm sure all will go well and his lungs should be good and ready by then. One month countdown starts tomorrow for you!
They started out talking about an induction when I started having issues with my heart, a cardiologist is going to be on call just in case anything happens but the cardiologist thinks things will go smoothly. Then they decided 37 weeks because I usually go early on my own...so I may still go before then. (Although I'm sort of looking forward to a planned delivery).

I think it would just be kind of depressing to think that is the day and then have them say nope sorry. Gosh thinking that it is so close! I need to get the next 9 days of work to fly bye so I can get some stuff done around my house lol.
