Pregnant or fat?

That's what people think when they look at me? Or at least that's the thought that crosses my mind. We were out all weekend shopping, eating, taking the dogs for walks, and I kept catching women looking at my bump. I guess it's not that big a deal I know I can't help but check out a bump when I see one. What bugs me is how I still look inbetween right now. Yeah it's a belly, but it could be from over doing it at KFC.

I don't feel cute I feel like a cow. Probably not helping my low self esteem right now is the fact that when I'm at home all I can stand to wear is drawstring pants. I have jeans that I've been wearing with my bella band, but as of this week three pairs will go on , but are way to tight when I sit down. It feels like I'm smushing the baby. So I'm down to one pair of pants that are almost not on me at all and my mom jeans aka maternity pants.

Who else is stuck in this transition? Please tell me I'm not the only one. (Aside from MomofBoys because she's having twins)

I feel the same i've lost weight as i always do when i'm pregnant but i don't know if i'm showing yet or its just the fat left over from my other kids. I can't wait until i get another couple of months along and then i know it will be all baby and not fat.

I feel fat and I think I look fat too!   Due date is 9/3.   I think most women in transitional period....go through "pregnant or fat", but look at the bright side....at least you ARE pregnant!! LOL and not just fat.

I feel like a cow too!  My face is so puffy.   I wish I could be cute and pregnant!!  Grrrr

Hey, you are not along. I am down to one pair of panths! I need to invest in the belly bands though....

I too feel fat and like my arms are getting HUGE! My DH will be taking some pics of my belly so I'll let you know what I look like tomororow...

The bella band works great it covers the fact that your pants are unzipped and it holds them up. I've used it with skirts also.

This is just another one of those fun stages at least this one won't last long. We'll all be showing like crazy in a matter of weeks.

You are not alone.  I feel the same way.  Everytime I look in the mirror, I tell my husband "I am getting fat".  He just laughs.  Last night my exact words when looking in the mirrow was "I am getting pretty thick".

I told my doc the same thing on Friday when I saw him.  I told him I was at that in between stage where you are starting to put on a little weight and your clothes are getting tight, but you just feel fat.  But my doc got onto me for my pants being loose.  Well, of course they are loose.  I am laying down silly!!!

It's awful and I hate this stage, but I hate a lot of stages.  I hate throwing up more!!!

I remember that feeling, I think I'm starting to get there too. Especially when I sit at work in my khaki pants and yucky tight shirt...bleh. I bought a bella band but I haven't tried it yet, how well does it work?

I can't decide if I'm fat or showing either. I started a new job right around my 8 week mark so when I bought my new work clothes I bought them all a size too big. Well now only two pair fit and its hard to make it through 5 days with 2 pair. I haven't bought any mom jeans or the belly band because I'm still a little too small. I still play it off like its all baby though. I don't suck in or anything. I guess I don't really care if others think I'm fat. I will be happy though when I can look in the mirror and honestly say, its all baby.  :)
