Hello Cyber-Sisters!
Poor Mary! I pray she feels better soon!!
My stepdaughter's son had rotavirus and was in the hospital for three days. It's awful, they look so helpless, he was so dehydrated...crying with no tears, just said...the total thing lasted about two weeks. shortly after that he contracted hand, foot and mouth disease, he broke out with little patches of bumps on his legs and arms and even in his mouth!. There is really no treatment for either illness, you just have to let it run its course. The doc said to make sure we disinfected everything...lysol, clorox, etc
I am so glad that MaKayla isn't in daycare...the little ones just pass the germs back and forth between each other.
MaKayla is doing quite well, she is so very active, she say Da-Da all the time, said ma-ma the other day and I think she even called my mother by her name! she scoots around, hasn't quite mastered crawling and rolls around like a log! Last night she almost fell out of her bassinet!! They are growing up too fast!! She loves to dance and bounce around in her jumper!
Talk to you ladies soon!
Luv and hugs to all!
Juana & Kayla
Thanks ladies. I hope she feels better soon too. And Latrice, that is exactly what my the ped said she thought Mary has...Rotavirus. She assumed that was what she has. I think so too since it has lasted so long.
I hope she feels better! Poor Mary.
I hope mary gets well soon, I hate when kids get sick, you just feel so helpless.
I have a 22month old client with a trach and g-tube and she had rotavirus, this was like 2 weeks ago, causes diarrhea, i didnt go in to work while she had bcuz i didnt want to get anything on me and give it to Trinity. But ever since she has been in daycare she always get sick, now she has given her cold to me and LaDell, we both started taking vitamin c to hopefully prevent us from getting sick.
On the good side, Trinity is starting to say a few words Baba(bottle) Dell(her brother) and DAda its just to cute and amazing. She is crawling all over the place and is pulling her self up on things, where has the time gone.
I hope Mary starts to feel better soon, it feels so horrible when you cant just make them better! On our end i took lily to get her 1st h1n1 shot and ended up in hospital with almost 40 degree temp.
