Lol you ladies are funny. I needed a laugh. I don't feel so small anymore...I think some of it is the height he hides well. :P
My doc always uses the tape measure as well. I've always pretty much measured right on time. But you are tiny as others have pointed out, so I am sure that is all there is to it. Geez, I wish I was smaller :) I look like Shamu's sister :)
I second that Amber! You are teeny tiny so of course it would appear your baby is smaller. You're fine!
I agree the tape measurements can't be all that accurate. Some people are just smaller, pre-pregnancy, than others. Amber looks like one of those itty bitty tiny chicks prior to pregnancy, so if they are comparing you to others who are of "average size" of course you would appear smaller. =)
I'm jealous by the way.LOL
Amber,
Do you know how accurate tape measuring is? I wouldn't actually think it is that accurate since people can carry so differently! If they still say you are measuring that small next time, you should ask them to do an u/s and get a more accurate read on the baby's weight.
Congrats on passing the glucose test!
Stacey
Glad you passed your glucose test! That thing is nerve wrecking!!
They did a tape measure. I don't get any more ultrasounds either (unless now they find it necissary)...
Are they measuring by U/S or by measuring tape. I dont get anymore U/S :( so OB is jus measuring me by tape. I beleive 12 is normal level, i no that in pregnancy it can be slightlly lower. See what the DR says. Thats good for the glucose, one less thing to worry about. I havent got my results back yet.
