PAiN iN THE BUTT, liTERAllY.!

ok, today i noticed a pain in the butt! literally,
well i was sitting eating lunch at work and when i went to get up it seems like my tailbone is sore! .. i noticed the pain before earlier on today but the pain was worse when i got up! ..i dont know if it is exactly my tail bone but thats where it hurts! .. is this normal? what can i do to prevent the pain?..

that is your coccyx bone!! you can thank the hormone relaxin for relaxing everything down there and now all the pressure is being put in the little bone thats a  few inches long at the tip of your spine!! i have it too and all pregnant woman will get it eventually!! Congrats, youre pregnant!! =) it hurts =)  its normal though!!

I had this my last pregnancy...until I delivered and about 6-8 weeks after. I hate to say it  but it actually got worse the further along that I got, I'm worreid about this happening again. My tailbone actually ended up popping out of place...it was horrid I had to wear this weird wrap after delivery.

Have you tried changing positions often? I lay on my side mostly on the couch to prevent tailbone aches! Good luck!

same here; never had tailbone issues so obviously it has to be from being pregnant but i just wanted to make sure .!

That's funny I've been having the same problem. Only when I sit for long periods of time or if I sit on a hard chair or bench. Never had tailbone issues before so I figure it must be something pregnancy related. Let me know if you figure it out!
