Happy Monday.

Good morning ladies! How is everyone feeling on this March morning? Spring is less than 20 days away and I woke up to birds chirping outside my window this morning. It was neat because it made me think of summer, but I really wish I could get a snooze button on those birds ;-)

I wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing today. I hope you had a good weekend.

Ladies, just checking in. Well, I think I'm coming down with a cold. I have been very congested and my head hurts. =(

It snowed a lot yesterday and I was off work...just rested and watched movies all day with DH. He too was off work. We got like 10 inches of snow, which is very unusual in Northern Virginia.

Other than that I'm feeling great, still no morning sickness, and I'm guessing they won't come now at all since I'm almost at my 2nd trimester...I'm loving it though.

eachatelain, That sounds like the perfect wedding to me. I love the idea of taking the whole thing outside, that's what I did for my wedding last year also. Congratulations.

Its on Apr 4th. Its not going to be a real big wedding.. its going to be outside at a lake near where I used to live, just kinda dressy casual (polos and khakis for guys, sundresses, flowy skirts for gals, that kinda stuff), and mostly just close friends and family. My stepdad is going to be marrying us, we're going to eat BBQ afterwards (yes, I know, how very country of us, but Lord help us North Carolinians, WE LOVE IT, haha). It should be a fun, happy, comfortable day, for my fiance and I, and everyone else that will be there, too, which is very important to me.

Its chilly (30s) here right now too, in Oklahoma. We are expecting 80 degree weather later this week though, so I can't complain.
I'm doing well today. I'm a little more tired than usual. I just think it was a boring day at work that caused it. I'm 12w 1d and have been feeling better. I have occasional evening sickness. Its getting better though. I didn't feel sick at all yesterday! I was so happy.
I started a new job last week. I had to quit my last job because of pay cuts caused by the economy. I plan on telling my new boss about my pregnancy tomorrow at our weekly meeting. I just feel like honesty is the best policy. But I am pretty nervous.
I know its hard supporting more than just you on one salary. My husband is in grad school ($$$!!!) so he can only work part time if at all. Luckily he felt he could work while I changed jobs, so that has been helping out. It still ***** though. Sometimes I wish food and housing was free. Now that I'm pregnant this has all got more confusing. I won't let money get in the way of enjoying this though! I'm too stubborn  :)

Latrice, I hope things get better...I am grateful that my boss is understanding (at times) so he doesn't bother me much. I too would be a little stressed if my DH was not working. Thankfully, he is the "saver" out of the two of us...I call him my finance manager...I agree with Eachatelain,  don't take on too much, you need to be as stress free as possible....and with the type of job you have, you don't need any additional stresses.  Good luck on the new job, but KNOW YOUR LIMITS!!!

Each - Congrats on your upcoming nuptials...are you having a big wedding? when is the big day?

Latrice- That would irritate me too. If I had a regular 8-5 job I would have been fired weeks ago. I can't imagine working full time with how sick and tired I was. I hope he finds something soon.

I can understand why that would aggravate you.. its hard enough to not stress about anything when both of us have jobs, I can't imagine the stress of one of us being out of work in this economy, especially with a baby on the way. I'm sure it'll all work out, just try not to stress too awful much (easier said than done, oh yes I know).

But good luck at your job(s), I hope its not too much on you. And I really hope you get to feeling better!

And vent anytime you want.. I know it always helps even to just type how angry I am about any given thing :)

Well i have just been very moody these days(.)(.) I am very happy that the all day sickness has left and i only get it here and there(that beats every darn day) my energy level has picked up YAY.  I was a little sad today bcuz my soon went on an outdoor adventure trip today with his science class, they will be gone for 3 days. The list clearly said no phones, but i had him sneak his so he can keep me posted on how he is, i just get so nervous sending him places when i cant be there to watch him(i no, over protective mom)  Well im in wisconsin, not to far from Juana and i woke up to 2 in of snow and it is snowing off and on. Im not looking forward to spring bcuz it has been years where we actually got snow in april, so i ll just be glad when summer comes:) which will only last 2 months for us lol.

I just want to vent a little if you guz dont mind. Well i had took a leave from my job Feb 3 bcuz i was so sick, i will be going back the 3rd week of this month, not looking forward to it bcuz its 12 hours shifts and its very demanding(its a hospital) and i just dont feel like thinking or being so on point, but guess i have to.  I also start a new job this tuesday at a nursing home part time but its 8 hour shifts, which i should be able to handle with no problem.
Im getting frustrated bcuz DF graduated oct 08 in biomedical engineering in Georgia then he moved here. Since the "recesion, he has not been able to get a job and most of the hospitals said they are on a hiring freeze for a few months. He did have an interview with Sinai, and its 2 positions open and they interviewed 4 people and said they will call once they interviewed all 4 people to let them no if they got the job or not. Jan was first interview, Feb was finally interview, they did not give time frame when they would call people back.  Im a little ticked bcuz he dont want to get a job doing something outside his field until something comes along, My income supports us, but i dont want to work full time, and what if he dont get the job, what if i get 6 months and all of a sudden cant work for what ever reason. I only have 3 months of savings left if for some reason i cant work.  I dont no if im being unfair, but it didnt bother me when i wasnt preggo, i figured he should find a job within 5 months, but since im PREGGO, him not working is making me extra B***hy.  Sorry this is so long, im just so ughhh irritated right now ahhhhhh!!!

Thanks for checkin in on evryone nicemom

Juana: i so hope your sickness leaves soon, i no its a pain in da buttt

eachate: Congrats:
