Still here and still pregnant :(

So mad right now. I'm home the hospital was VERY busy and my amnio was borderline so I'm at home on my couch still pregnant...and sad. They are sending the amnio off to the U of M for further testing and will get the "final" report later today, but the doctor said that now the hospital is too busy and I will have to wait until Saturday! URG.

I'm so fed up right now. My husband is home and not getting pd I'm home and not getting paid and I need to pay $200 for a sitter and now find a sitter for this weekend! Growl. Sorry ladies just bummed right now. I'll update when I hear...I'm also a little sad that I'm full term and his lungs are "possibly" developed. I hope everything is ok but I was really looking forward to having this baby today and now I wait. BTW I found the amnio painful...my stomach still aches but they did it up by my rib cage.

He's the size of Brody at 34 weeks! I would hate to know how big Brody would have been had he baked a few more weeks! I found him easier to get out than the rest, so hopefully that was the case for you as well! Congrats Mama, welcome to the world Carter! Can't wait to see pictures!!

Hi ladies, I will post the story later on when I'm not exhausted. Carter was born 11:24pm after over 15 hours of labor. He is a peanut! 5lb 15oz and 19 inches long. Poor little guy has a cone head from being down so long. And since I just had him a little more then an hour ago I'm going to hopefully shower/bath and maybe get some sleep. :)

Hi ladies. I am at the hospital this morning. My water is broke...but I have to sit here and not move for 4 hours while I get the antibiotic for GBS. I'll keep you posted! :)

Ah amber im so sorry, what a bummer. The one good thing is you know he's gonna come out screaming with good healthy lungs. What ever happends you know you'll have him in your arms by sunday, i've got to wait till god knows when. Chin up sweetie. Hugs. Kelly x

I did get a message from the doctor baby's lungs are fully developed they got the results back, they are just really swamped at the hospital. He told me to call tomorrow morning and if anyone planned for induction has already delivered tonight I may be able to go in tomorrow otherwise to plan for Saturday at 8 am (I'm on the schedule and have a room). What a day. It's such a let down to drive an hour to the hospital to get sent home, on a day they planned.

Wow that's terrible!!!  I know how it feels to wait and wait and wait, and for the doctor to just say "lets wait..."  It's fricken annoying, almost as annoying as it is for them to take like three hours to call you back!  But it happens... and we can't do ANYTHING about it.  *sigh*  Hang in there Sat. isn't that far away!!!  But i'm terribly annoyed, my baby is head down and he keeps kicking me in the middle of my chest which is pusihg his head down and it's killing me right now.
