Update 39 wk 2 day check up ( BEING INDUCED 9/16)

Ok so I had an appt today and I am 2 cm dilated. I only progressed one cm in a week...go figure. Baby is still head down. Doc checked my cervix and said it would help me dilate and that I would start seeing bloody flow within 24 hours. Whatever he did hurt like HELL and I have been uncomfortable ever since. He said if nothing happends in the next 72 hrs that I would be induced on 9/16 at 7am. WISH ME LUCK LADIES. I have had mild crampings since my visit with the doc...no mucus plug or bloody flow like he said so I don't know what's going on.....come on Brandon mommy wants to greet you! My official due date is 9/15 so we'll see if I make it pass this weekend.

Why did the dr. say you needed to induce?  Maybe you will go on your own before then...so exciting!  Good luck!

Walk, walk, walk, and do anything possible to keep the cramping up. He stripped your membranes which does work for some people. (Didn't work for me). Good luck!
