Vaginal bleeding?

ok so i went to the ob/triage at the hospital the other night about 2-3 weeks ago bc i noticed that i was bleeding when i went to use the bathroom; definetly not spotting or anything like that it was like a period it lasted about 15 minutes ! they did blood work ultrasounds vaginal exam & it came down to my cervix! my cervix was thinning already!! so they sent me home after a couple of hours of waiting & testing! ..they told me everything looked fine with the baby and with me so they dont really have anything to worry about...
now just yesterday i was cleaning, & vaccumming as if i werent prego [i know i know i shouldnt be doing much of it but i never realize what im doing till after ive done it] .. about 2 hours later i noticed bleeding again but this time it was more than before and a chunk of tissue or something came along with it ; (it wasnt big but it wasnt small !) now i didnt want to go back to triage only bc i figured it was just my cervix and there werent any cramping along with the bleeding, & she was moving  now the bleeding has slowed down now but now its just like a light period (more brownish than red) .. is anyone experincing this and what should i do?
i was told to prop my feet up and stay off of them!! which im going to try to do!! anything else?!?!?

You definitely need to go to the hospital even if it's a little bleeding.  This has happened to me during my first pregnancy.  I called first and they didn't think it was a big deal and I went to the hospital and sure enough it was a problem coz that same night I lost my baby.  I'm sorry I don't mean to scare you but I wouldn't take anything lightly this time around.

Call your OB or head to the ER...you can't assume that its the same problem as before! Keep us posted!

I have had bleeding due to marginal placenta previa but I was told very clearly that if I or any pregnant person has any bleeding at this stage they need to go to see their OB or go to L&D.  They need to check you out and look for any signs of preterm labour.

I would definitely call your OB!

You need to get in to see an OB even if that means you have to go back into l&d. I did this with my son my cervix was soft and it bled often. I ended up on bedrest, I wouldn't want to risk the health of the baby, please be seen. And keep us posted.
