baby furniture has arrived!
I ordered 2 cribs and 2 chest of drawers, both in black, very nice, all black painted pine wood. In the babies room, we're putting two cribs and a dresser, and I bought a dresser for my boys room also. (I dont want them to feel left out at all as we prepare for the baby girls. Besides they really needed a dresser also.) Actually, these really aren't dressers, but tall 5 drawer chest of drawers.
I paid $896 for all 4 pieces, that includes tax (with free shipping) ordering from WalMart.com. I feel like I got a great deal!
My hubby has the babies room coming along nicely. Bless his heart. He's working so hard lately. His parents have him working on some rental house remodels every weekend, and at night he's at our house working on the babies room. We're closing in a part of the garage (for a playroom/nursery) and so it's quite a job, but I can't believe how fast it's coming together.
How's everyone else doing on their nurseries? The way I look at it, the twins will probably come early, so I'm trying to get prepared. The c-sec will be scheduled for 36 weeks (maximum) for me, so that's only 12 weeks away, if I go that long!

Its crazy to think you only have 12 weeks left! I only have 16ish! Time IS flying!
Some days it feels like tomorrow, somedays it feels like each week lasts a year. The only things 'missing' in our nursery is a glider and decorations. The crib and changing table/dresser are put together and its looking good. I hoping to finish up by the end of June. I'm sure it will be getting too hot to do much after that.

Wow, time is flying by so fast. I got so excited reading that your furniture has arrived:)
My sister use to live with me and she used one of the rooms for storage, we just finished getting the last of her items out. Im only repainting the room badge(its badge and brown already but could use a fresh coat of paint) The baby bedding will be pink and brown so it will go well with the badge n brown. As far as furniture, i am still in limbo of what i want, i really want this set from babies r us, if i get it, the baby will use that furniture til her teen years, the room she will be in is not big enough for a queen bed so if i decided on queen bed later in years we would have to switch her room,(i have a 5 bedroom home) Its just me son and DF.
So the nursery for me is still not 2gether, im hoping to have the furniture by july (2mrw i will decide what furniture i will be getting)
