baby had hicups

I was just watching tv and I felt a shake in my belly, like a baby movement. Then another one and another.... it lasted for about two minutes. I could feel it from my belly button down it was pretty cool. I know it wasn't a kick because before and during the hicups the baby was kicking me on the left side. I was running the dvr for some show and my dh kept saying something to me about fast forwarding through the commericals. Apparently I zoned out and wasn't paying any attention to him. I just got this big goofy grin on my face and told him what it was. He wasn't as impressed as I was. I think until he can feel the movements from the outside this will all still be unreal to him.

It's funny as much as I know I'm pregnant the reality of that baby can still catch me by surprise like it did tonight.

Don't worry some people just don't feel the movements until later. It's my second so I picked up on them a little earlier than I did last time. The position of the placenta, the baby, and your weight can all be a factor.

Cute! My DH can feel movements the OB almost didn't believe us, at 17 weeks when she went to check the heart rate she saw my belly move, she said she thinks its because I'm so little...HA I don't feel little. Lol.

My hubby puts his hands on my belly all the time trying to feel some movements, but he hasn't been successful yet.  I can't wait  It's such an amazing moment.

I remember when I was pregnant the first time, and started feeling strong kicks around 6 months, and I put the remote on top of my belly and the baby kicked it off.  Wild!

awww! For some reason, our husbands just don't get as excited as we do about those kind of things. ;)  I can't wait to feel those hiccups again with this one! With my son I didn't feel them until 21 weeks. Congrats!!! =)
