I always breastfeed my kids as well, which is why I thought they (your wife's periods) may be delayed.  But again, the only thing you can do is wait until about 2 weeks after the unprotected sex and have her take a test.

Your wife would probably be most fertile about two weeks after her period.  Maybe that will help you determine how fertile she was at the time.

I may be dumb, but I'm not sure what "coitus interuptus" is.  LOL  But i think "withdrawal" works ok but it's definitely not the safest method.

I am sorry, but anytime there is unprotected sex, there is a chance of pregnancy.  The only way to know for sure is to see if she misses her period (if she has them back yet) and take a test.  If her periods have not resumed normally, you will have to wait a couple of weeks from the time that you had sex and then have her take a test.

Good luck!
