34 week update

Well I had my 34 week check up a little late becuase of having to go to Virginia, so I was actually 34 wks 4 days.  I lost another 2 lbs, but doc said my weight was good.  My bp was up just a teeny bit from normal.  It's normall around 126/63 yesterday it was 133/72.  But given all that's going on with my mom I'm suprised it's not higher than that.  He checked me and said that my cervix is still closed but softening and still posterior.  The baby's head is down but still high.  I told him that I'd been having a lot more BH lately, that I havent' had as much discomfort and pain as before but I can feel my stomach getting hard.  He asked how many and how long they were lasting.  I told him I was getting several a day and that they were starting to last longer...sometimes 45-60 seconds.  That I can feel the pressure around my cervix when I have them.  He said he doesn't think I'm gonna go into labor in the next week but that if I have more than 10 BH in a hour then I need to come in and be checked.  We scheduled my next check up and my last ultrasound for next wednesday so we'll get one last peek at her :)  

Since the doc already expects me to have her early and with what is going on with my Mom I think it would be awesome if this little girl was born the friday after next, the 13th.  I will be exactly 36 weeks that day and it's my Mom's birthday!!


Also for those who have been following the situation with my Mom, I have posted a journal entry with an update on her.  I'm so relieved to say that it is actually a POSITIVE update!!

LOL Well I wouldn't be a sept mommy with THIS pregnancy but I do already have one kid with a september birthday so in a round about off hand way I still qualify LOL

Its so good to hear from you! I was wondering when you would come back....glad to hear that everything was positive! Friday the 13th would be cool...but then you wouldn't be a sept mommy, with you and waitn being sept mommies makes me think about how quickly everything is coming up!

It should be exciting to see your little girl again on the us! Keep us posted on how everything is going with you and your LO.
