30 weeks u/s results

well im technically 29.5 weeks preg however i had my 30 week u/s today....shockingly my cervix continues to get longer...it was 2.9 today and still closed...baby is def head down and looking good....she weighs 3 lbs 6 oz as of today

also today i was told i have an anterior placenta but the doc shrugged it off like no big deal for now...does anybody have this or know what this means?

there is no explanation for the pressure pains ive been feeling...i dont understand how my cervix is getting longer at this point...the baby is measuing about 31 weeks and her weight is consistant with 31 weeks....does that mean ill have her 2 weeks early?

as for an induction....once again freaking circles...doc today said that we would look at around 39-40 weeks if i didnt go into natural labor...that is not consistant whats so ever with what i was told last time...i got huffy with her and told her the inconsistency is making me crazy...i understand we want the bun to cook as long as possible in the oven but im terrified of delivering on heparin...she claims i only have to be off it for 6 hours...seriously....im so irritated about this inconsistancy...she then said that after my next u/s (aug 16) ill be in my 34 th week i can bring the question up again....ugh...soooo irritatable about this

they are no longer checking my cervix because it doesnt matter anymore unless something drastic changes (in the words of my doc)....i have my reg 30 week ob appt tomorrow...maybe ill understand more at this appt...ugh

im glad to know im not the only with this weird named placenta....who knows how my cervix has been growing....i have been laying around most of the day and not lifting more than i have to...in a way ive been on moderate bedrest i guess you could say so maybe that did the trick

i figured after my next appt its game on...im getting off this couch and gonna walk around as much as i can...ill actually be starting that week too so that will help

I am glad to hear that your little girl is doing well in there... I don't think because she is measuring bigger that you will have her earlier but sometimes it does happen.

I also have an anterior placenta...all it mean is that your placenta is placed more in the front of your uterus than towards the back and it usually doesn't mean anything except that sometimes it cushions the baby's kicks so you can't feel then as consistently.

I have no clue how your cervix is getting longer and maybe the pains that you and I are both feeling are just growing/stretching pains!

I delivered my last little boy on heparin but I took the shot first thing in the morning and didn't deliver until almost 24 hours later. I am not sure because my doctor never told me that I needed to be off of it before I had him... I am sorry that you are getting the run around with your induction and I really hope that you don't have to be induced and hopefully when little girl gets big enough you will go into labor all by yourself!

Also so sorry to hear about the pics not coming out well! I really wish that they would train these techs better!
