Question about baby poo! :0

I havent been on much, trying to do the mommy of two thing and DH not around.... I hope everyone is doing well and their babies are growing little bundles of joy!

Soraya was 11.11 at her 6 week check up, not sure what she is not but I think about 13 pounds...?? She 2 months old!

So my big question of the day! Soraya usually poops once a day sometimes twice. She is a very gassy baby and has a horrible fussy time after 5pm. I would say that her bowel movements are normal but OMG do they smell, her gas as well!
She smells very strongly of sulphur... When I take DS to his Taekwondo classes other people can smell her sitting like 5-6 feet away!
Is it normal for her to smell so much like sulphur??

Please do.  Hopefully it just fromt he formula.  formula isn't as easily digested as breastmilk and therefore creates more waste...this could be the cause of the smell

Raya is formula fed and DS was seeing a ped but he has not seen him in 1.5 years so I have to get a new referral.... >:(
I am going to take into my fam doc because he is leaving the practice soon... Im not happy about that either.
Im just worried that she is not digesting something right. I will let you know when I find something out!!
Thanks!

Lily has had some God Awful HORRIBLY smelly farts. Her poop doesn't usually stink as bad but her gas sure does.  I do believe formula poops are far more smelly than breastmilk ones.  It wouldn't hurt to dial up your pediatrician and speak with the nurse just for some peace of mind.

Wow - my hat is off to you for managing a newborn with a toddler without your DH around - no wonder you have not been on much.

Are you breastfeeding or formula feeding?  If you are breastfeeding than smelly poops would be unusual (smelly farts are very normal - my son is exclusively breastfed and his gas could level a grown man!).  If she is drinking formula, than her poop will be smelly, but I am not sure about a sulphur smell.  I would check with your pediatrician, as sometimes certain smells can indicate a medical problem (for example, urine that smells like maple syrup).I am curious to see if anyone else's formula eating little ones have sulphur smelling poops.

Hope that you are at least getting some rest
