unplanned but very wanted!!

when is a good time to tell your partner that your pregnant if it was an unplanned pregnancy but you want to keep it? I had two chemical pregnancies back to back and a third pregnancy ended in a d and c about four months ago. I was 7 weeks and no fetal pole could be found :(  I kind of want to wait until i know for sure that this one will stick before i get him all worried for nothing. what would you do?

I think it would be best to go ahead and tell him.  He obviously stuck around for the other ones (I'm assuming they were his) so this time should be no different.  By telling him now, you will have someone there to share your excitement and someone to support you no matter what the outcome.  Besides, he's the father, he has a right to know regardless of the outcome.

DH and I were seperated and actually going through the divorce process when i found out i was pregnant in aug 07.  I ended up having a natural m/c and didn't tell him until a few months later.  His response was to tell me that I should have told him, that he would have supported me and been there for me even though we were having major issues.
